The National Disability Rights Network, in coalition with national organization representing students with disabilities, educators, families and school board members, submitted a letter to the Chair and Ranking of the Senate Appropriations Committee as well as the Chair and Ranking of the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Committee urging to revise its Fiscal Year 2020 allocation bill to provide a commensurate share of the budget cap increase, as offered in the amendment by Ranking Member Leahy.
