Early in his administration, President Biden put out several executive orders to push for equity throughout the federal agency. As a result, many of those agencies in turn put out requests for information (RFI) to receive feedback from the public on how to better bring about equity for all persons. The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) submitted comments in response to an RFI from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to discuss how FEMA can provide better equity to people with disabilities in emergency situations.
