Decoding Discrimination 2023!

In collaboration with Foundations For Divergent Minds, John Hopkins Disability Health Research Center, and Justice Shorter, NDRN is proud to present Decoding Discrimination 2023! Join us on May 18th from 2:00-3:30 pm EST for this thought-provoking panel and robust roundtable discussion. Together we’ll openly discuss the rollback of pandemic protections and how coded/common language continues to discriminate against Black, Indigenous & Other People of Color with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. This session is designed for participants to share and learn from one another, so please come prepared to contribute your reflections and experiences throughout. You can check out last year’s Decoding Discrimination discussions and resources here. We look forward to conducting these critical conversations and are excited to connect with you again this year.
