Andrew Spagnolo joined NDRN in April 2025 as a Disability Advocacy Specialist on the Employment Team. Andrew conducts training and implementation of the Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS) program, a program designed to assist Social Security beneficiaries achieve maximum economic self-sufficiency and overcome barriers to work. He has extensive experience with Social Security Disability Programs, Work Incentives, and other public benefits.
Prior to joining NDRN, Andrew worked 11 years in supported employment in the Philadelphia, PA area. During the last 8 of those years, he worked as a certified Work Incentive counselor, providing direct Benefits Counseling to individuals seeking employment. Andrew‘s work helped SSA benefit beneficiaries make informed decisions about choosing and succeeding at work, while understanding how their work and benefits interact.
Andrew‘s years of direct support built his passion for supporting and advocating for individuals, especially around competitive employment, which led him to provide his knowledge and skills to the NDRN.
