Alden Blevins (she/her) serves as Communications Manager, leading the organization’s Communications team. She oversees press strategy, digital strategy, accessible and inclusive storytelling, and the creation of digital media assets that reach diverse audiences and educate the public on disability rights and policy issues. Previously, she served as Director of External Relations at the disAbility Law Center of Virginia, their state Protection and Advocacy organization. Blevins earned her Master of Arts from New York University in 2021, with a focus on Universal Design and accessibility. As an Autistic woman, she brings a lived-experience perspective grounded in equity, justice, and inclusion, aiming to center the voices of people with disabilities through her work.
