We are proud to share our heartfelt gratitude to AARP for their generous $20,000 sponsorship to the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN). This vital support reflects AARP’s ongoing commitment to strengthen the bonds between the aging and disability communities.
AARP’s sponsorship will help bolster our efforts to protect rights, educate communities, and ensure that people with disabilities continue to have a strong voice in shaping policies that affect their daily lives. From accessible healthcare and housing to transportation and employment opportunities, the challenges facing the disability community are vast—but with partners like AARP, progress is possible.
This contribution is more than a donation—it is a statement of solidarity. It underscores the power of collaboration between organizations that believe in dignity, independence, and equal rights for everyone, regardless of age or ability. AARP Foundation Litigation works closely with members of our community on cases related to Olmstead compliance, accessibility, and long-term care. They are currently co-counseling with Disability Rights D.C. and the Disability Rights Center for New Hampshire and are interested in expanding this type of work into other parts of the country.
