State of Nebraska v. Jenkins, Nebraska Supreme Court
On September 10, 2018, after many extensions granted to the state, NDRN joined the ACLU in an amicus brief to the Nebraska Supreme Court arguing that a sentencing panel erred when it refused to consider the effects of long term solitary confinement as mitigation during a sentencing process that resulted in the death penalty for a prisoner with a disability.
