Some members of Congress are proposing work requirements for those who receive SNAP benefits. NDRN attended the April 19 Senate hearing that discussed such require such stipulations and now wants to make a public statement against such requirements. Work requirements are inappropriate and could be detrimental for people with disabilities who rely on SNAP benefits for their nutritional needs.
