The National Disability Rights Network joined other organizations to urge the U.S. House of Representatives to oppose H.R. 7059, the “Coronavirus Provider Protection Act.” The bill would provide blanket immunity for nursing homes that negligently put older adults and persons with disabilities at risk of death at a time when COVID-19 is raging through nursing homes across the country.
