NDRN Congratulates Denis McDonough on Becoming U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs

The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) congratulates Denis McDonough on his confirmation to be the next United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA).

“Secretary McDonough has an important role in this administration in an organization that has faced its battles over recent years,” said NDRN Managing Attorney for Community Integration Dave Boyer. “As a Veteran and VA consumer I look forward to seeing the changes that this administration brings, and I challenge the Secretary to lean on the 40+ years of experience that NDRN and the Protection and Advocacy network bring to monitoring conditions in facilities.”

We look forward to working with Secretary McDonough as he seeks to ensure the well-being of America’s Veterans,” said NDRN Executive Director Curt Decker.
