Jimel Wright: Disability Rights in Black 2020

It’s Day 21 of our #DisabilityRightsInBlack series and Jimel Wright is urging all of us to help prevent violence against women! As the Outreach Coordinator and Prevention Specialist at Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services, Jimel works with both youth and adults to address abusive behaviors as well as toxic attitudes. He is a young Black Deaf man who boldly believes in a future free of violence against Cisgender women, Transgender women, and Nonbinary individuals. Check out Jimel’s hopeful message on why we should all be committed to ending abuse.
