The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) put out a Request for Information (RFI) in the summer of 2021. The RFI sought areas of concern related to transit safety in numerous forms of transportation, such as buses and railroads. After collecting these topic areas, the FTA intends to do further analysis on how to make public transit safer for all passengers. NDRN submitted comments in order to shine line on safety concerns specifically related to passengers with disabilities.
