Coalition for Smart Safety Sends Letter to Congress Opposing the BIG Act

The Coalition for Smart Safety sent a letter to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee and the House Education & Labor Committee opposing the Big Act. The bill proposes addressing what is perceived to be problematic student behavior through the use of violence risk assessments, threat assessments, and preemptive use of law enforcement.
