Public Policy Intern

Jake M. Goodman joined NDRN as a Public Policy Intern in May 2021. His main responsibilities involve analyzing and compiling data on congressional affairs and committees. In addition, Jake does research on the intersectionality of environmental protection/anti-pollution policies and disability rights. He has also been researching how the Biden Administration’s American Families Plan, American Jobs Plan, and American Rescue Plan will effect housing and transit related policies for individuals with disabilities. Jake recently graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degrees in Political Science and Geography & Environmental Planning. Disability rights are important to Jake because he wants to do everything he can to make the world less ableist for individuals with disabilities like himself.
