Halle Finegold is interning at NDRN full-time for the Fall 2021 semester. She is supporting multiple attorneys in projects that range from accessibility, mis-incarceration, employment, to education. Originally from California, Halle received her B.A. in English from San Diego State University. She is a third-year law student at Penn State Law and will graduate in May of 2022 with a J.D. During her 1L summer she interned at California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing. During her 2L summer she interned with the Honorable Supervisory Administrative Judge Maricia Woodham at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Washington, DC, Field Office. Halle’s passion for disability rights started in childhood with first-hand experience of family members with disabilities being discriminated against in employment and has continued, prompting Halle to seek out NDRN.
