Senior Public Policy Analyst
Cyrus Huncharek joined NDRN in February 2020 as a Public Policy Analyst focusing on criminal/juvenile justice, housing, social security, immigration, and transportation. Before joining NDRN, Cyrus served as a Government Affairs Coordinator for the National Parent Teacher Association (National PTA). Prior to his work with National PTA, Cyrus worked as a high school English teacher in South Dakota through Teach For America as well as a Learning and Development intern for the White House Office of Administration where he developed e-learning courses for executive office employees. He holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. Cyrus’ experience as a classroom teacher and prior work on special education policy motivates him to now work on protecting the rights of all people with disabilities.
