NDRN joined the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, along with 42 other organizations providing comments on proposed amendments to the Title IX regulations. The comments urge the department to ensure an educational environment free from discrimination on the basis of sex (including sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, or pregnancy and related conditions) along with restoring and strengthening protections against sex-based harassment (including sexual harassment).
