Children with Disabilities in School Voucher Programs: What P&As Can Do to Protect Them

States have begun to implement a dizzying array of voucher and voucher-like schemes – programs that permit public funds to be used to purchase private school access.  Early reports indicate that achievement outcomes are not as high or higher than public school placements and that federal disability rights laws are not uniformly implemented throughout these programs. How can P&As work in their states to protect the rights of students with disabilities in voucher programs?
