Office Manager I –

disabilities. Protection & Advocacy, Inc. (PAI) has a vacancy for an
energetic and detail oriented Office Manager for our San Diego Regional Office.

The following minimum qualifications must be met:
1. Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by specialized secretarial or business training.
2. Two (2) years of experience supervising office support staff.
3. Five (5) years of progressively responsible legal or administrative/ secretarial experience.
4. Keyboard proficiency: 60 net words per minute.
5. Experience using Microsoft Word and/or WordPerfect, and Excel.
6. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, including a working knowledge of correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure.
7. Ability to judge situations, make independent decisions, and find reasonable solutions.
8. Experience working with or sensitivity to individuals with disabilities.
9. Experience working with or sensitivity to individuals from ethnic and language distinct communities.
