Director of Legal & Advocacy Services

The Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Director of Legal & Advocacy Services. Law degree from accredited law school, member in good standing with the Florida Bar, and 7+ years of experience leading, managing, and providing legal and litigation services, and budget management required. This position is responsible for ensuring that legal and advocacy policies, practices, resources, systems and other items are in place and functioning well and in keeping with best practices. Must have knowledge of state and federal laws relating to civil rights and human services and other related public interest law. Experience in complex federal and state litigation, individual representation, community education and outreach, and policy advocacy, and other services relating to disability issues.
