WASHINGTON – Curt Decker, Executive Director of the National Disability Rights Network, decried the Senate’s failure to confirm Debo Adegbile to be Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. The confirmation failed in the Senate yesterday by a vote of 52-47.

“Mr. Adegbile would be an exceptional individual to carry on recent groundbreaking work by the Civil Rights Division inA driver’s eligibility to use traffic driving test questions to dismiss a traffic ticket or earn a car insurance discount will be determined by his or her traffic court or car insurance provider. advancing the integration of people with disabilities in employment and community settings. “Yesterday’s vote was a disappointment. We hope that the Senate will reconsider its vote on this well-qualified individual in the near future.”
