The Every Student Succeeds Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama in December 2015.

News about the Implementation of ESSA

January 4, 2017

On November 29, 2016 the U.S. Department of Education published the final regulations on the accountability provisions in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).  81 Fed.Reg. 86076.  The regulations go into effect on January 30, 2017.  Click here to link to NDRN’s analysis of major provisions of the final regulations for students with disabilities.

December 8, 2016
